Charity voting 2014 has now closed

Thank you for taking part in this year’s charity voting process, but voting has – as of midday on 11 September – now closed and no further votes can be accepted.

After a slightly delayed start due to problems with the voting mechanism, over 10% more GamesAid members have participated in this year’s vote and GamesAid auditors will now work through and tally up the final votes.

The trustees will announce the chosen charities at a special presentation ceremony at this year’s Eurogamer Expo on Thursday 25th September 2014.

Please email trustees@gamesaid.org if you would like further details or wish to attend.

A huge thanks to every GamesAid member who shared, retweeted and voted in this year’s poll, your help in publicising and promoting this year’s vote has made a huge difference with over 10% more GamesAid members having their say and it’s your efforts which have made that difference.

This marks the culmination of a year’s fund raising on behalf of GamesAid. All year round our amazing members raise funds though a plethora activities, and in the summer thoughts turn to how these sums will be allocated to a number of charities who support children and young people in the UK.

The trustees thank you again and look forward to seeing you at EGX, where they will announce the final results and award this year’s funds to the winning charities.
