SEGA GamesAid Cricket Challenge rasies £2420 for GamesAid
Now in its third year, the SEGA GamesAid Cricket Challenge saw 44 intrepid games industry cricketers play 4 games over 7 hours in aid of GamesAid at Kew Cricket Club. To date the day raised £2420 for GamesAid.
John Clark (SEGA All Stars), Doron Garfunkel (The Old Sweats), Ian Livingstone (Square Leg Nix) and Alistair Hatch (Screaming Lord Hatch’s Invitational First XI) captained their respective teams and it was a day of nip and tuck on every level. The Old Sweats managed to beat SEGA All Stars and Screaming Lord Hatch’s Invitation XI beat Square Leg Nix to set up a final which saw the Screaming Lord Hatch’s Invitational First XI win for the third year running by a close margin of 8 runs. Special thanks for a very special day go to all the players, Kew Cricket Club, SEGA, Graeme Struthers and David Walker who organised it all. Oh and Mr Sunshine also gets a huge round of applause.
If any players want a photographic record of last year’s game, copies of the beautiful book can be ordered here, all proceeds go to GamesAid.
