GamesAid poker night a huge draw

Every year the industry’s finest poker players assemble at Develop for the annual hold ’em or fold ’em GamesAid Poker tournament and last night was no exception, with legendary Sensible Soccer man Jon Hare scooping the top prize.

Organised by Warner Brothers’ Mark Ward and generously sponsored by Relentless Software, the GamesAid Poker tournament succeeded in raising £4850 on the night and during its six years to date, this highlight of the GamesAid calendar has succeeded in raising over £25000 for GamesAid good causes!

Over 60 players assembled for last night’s event at The Grosvenor Casino, Brighton Seafront, and while Jon Hare of Tower Studios took first prize, runners-up spot was nabbed by independent designer Alex Trowers and third place went to Ben Bateman of Green Man Gaming.

Well done to everyone who took part, and GamesAid looks forward to welcoming you all back, same time next year.
