A special night dedicated to celebrating the hard work done by UK games industry charity fundraisers

It takes place Wednesday 30 November in Central London

UK games industry charity GamesAid is gearing up for a very special night later this year: its first ever fundraising Gala.

Taking place on the evening of Wednesday 30 November at 116 Pall Mall, the industry dinner and presentation for over 200 guests will celebrate the fundraising efforts of GamesAid’s supporters and chosen charities.

GamesAid has distributed nearly £4m since to smaller charities that support disadvantaged and disabled children and young people since its founding in 2008.

All the profits from the Gala will be distributed to the organisations that GamesAid supports: AFK: Working with Disabilities, Autistica, Lifelites, Solving Kids Cancer, The Clock Tower Sanctuary and Winston’s Wish.

On the night itself GamesAid is also planning to award a handful of special recognition awards to its most committed fundraisers – including stand-out work from staff and volunteers at its partner charities.

More information can be found at www.gamesaid.org/gala2022. Tickets for the event are on sale now.

About Games Aid

GamesAid is a UK based video games charity (Registered UK Charity #1081706) which acts as an umbrella to support a number of smaller charities who help disadvantaged and disabled children and young people.

Members of the games industry propose a range of charities to receive support from the UK games industry, with the members of Games Aid democratically selecting a number of organisations to back each year. Our current charities are AFK: Working with

Disabilities, Autistica, Lifelites, Solving Kids Cancer, The Clock Tower Sanctuary and Winston’s Wish.

Games Aid is a non-trading body, administered by Trustees who operate on a fixed term basis.
