AFK – Action for Kids

Disabled, autistic and neurodivergent children and young people face huge barriers to accessing appropriate mobility equipment and the freedom, improved health and inclusion it enables. They encounter many barriers to the financial security offered through access to secure and sustainable paid work.

Action For Kids offers supports with access to mobility, good health and wellbeing and inclusion and independence in two main ways – equipment and employment.

We provide vital and life-changing specialist mobility equipment for disabled children & young people from birth to age 25 nationally and crucially cover all maintenance & repair costs of the equipment we fund.

Our employment coaches support London’s disabled & neurodiverse young people both in school or college or post full time education with the skills, confidence and networks to gain secure paid work.
